David de Rothschild

Stephanie Gilmore
Australia’s Stephanie Gilmore is one of the true stars of surfing. She is a professional surfer and has won the World Championships on the Women’s ASP World Tour six times. Stephanie’s surfing career got off to an early start. By the time she was 17, she was entering international events. She qualified for the Women’s ASP World Tour in 2007 and went on to win the first of her six World Championships title. She was inducted into the Surfers’ Hall of Fame and won the Laureus World Action Sportsperson of the Year Award in 2010.

Sally Fitzgibbons
Australian Sally Fitzgibbons was a prolific athlete in a range of sports but had her first significant professional surfing results at the age of 14, when she became the youngest surfer to win an ASP Pro Junior event. She continued to set records throughout her junior years, with important wins in Australasia, Brazil, and Portugal, where she won the first of two World Junior Championships titles. Sally qualified for the World Surfing Tour in 2009, finishing in the top five a total of nine times, and has been runner-up in the World Championships three times, achieving ten WSL World Tour victories.

Kelly Slater
American Kelly Slater is the most successful surfer of all time. He won the World Surf League Championship a record 11 times, including five consecutive titles between 1994 and 1998. Impressively, he was both the youngest champion at the age of 20 and the oldest at the age of 39, representing a record of longevity and performance that would be remarkable in any sport.

With a screwed stainless-steel caseback and a ratcheted unidirectional rotating bezel, the Chronomat B01 Chronograph 44 is equal to any adventure. Its new understated satin-brushed case lends this timepiece a subtle contemporary flair that makes it the perfect partner for a night on the town.

This exceptional chronograph has been created in two versions, one with a Blackeye blue dial and the other with a Blackeye gray dial. The hands and the distinctive hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova®, making them easy to read in all lighting conditions.

Both versions boast contrasting small second, 30- minute, and 12-hour chronograph subdials, an indication of the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 movement inside. The dial, which has a date window ideally positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, is clearly legible through a convex sapphire crystal with anti- reflective coating on both sides.

With its dual-acting ball-bearing rotor, the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 has a power reserve in excess of 70 hours. Midea expands operations for Latin America and the Caribbean

Portfolio includes full line of home appliances and portable devices, plus residential and commercial air conditioners

MIAMI, Jan. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Midea, a global leader in air conditioning and appliances, present in more than 150 countries, will invest US $ 30 million in expanding its business to Latin and Central America. The operation’s Head Quarter will be in Miami, where the launch of the project will take place on January 23rd at the Pullman Hotel.

The company, with revenues of over US $ 24 million, more than 20 factories and 124 thousand employees worldwide, aims to reach a key area for its global expansion strategy, Latin America and the Caribbean, which in 2016 only, had a volume of 12 million units sold, with average revenues of US $ 3.1 million.

Currently, Midea is present in the region in Brazil, Argentina and Chile, through the joint venture with American Carrier. “Our goal is to strengthen even more the brand globally, positioning products with the latest technology and quality,” says Joao Claudio Guetter, CEO of Midea LATAM.
