Jamaica, St. Vincent To Clash In Digicel Caribbean Cup New York Semis

CaribPR Wire, BROOKLYN, NY, Fri. Aug. 28, 2009: Jamaica and St. Vincent are set to clash in this weekend`s Digicel Caribbean Cup semi-finals while St. Lucia will face-off against Grenada.

The Digicel Caribbean Cup enters its semi-final round this Sunday, August 30th as the four teams battle it out for a final spot on September 6th.

Match times are 4 and 6 p.m. at the Jefferson High School Field, 125-08 Flatlands Avenue, Brooklyn, New York (near Shepherd Ave)

Digicel is the largest mobile operator in the Caribbean and recent entrant to Central America and recently announced its title sponsorship of the Caribbean Soccer Cup.

The Caribbean Cup New York tournament is in its 17th year and features 12 representative teams from the Caribbean and South America. It is currently entering the playoff stages of the tournament, with Jamaica and St. Vincent leading the build up to the final, which takes place on Sunday, September 6th in Brooklyn, New York.
