Title: Akon Added To Reggae Sumfest 2008


CaribPR Newswire, NEW YORK, NY, Tues. July 15, 2008: Senegalese singer songwriter Akon has been added to this year`s Reggae Sumfest. The Grammy-nominated singer, who rose to fame in 2004 following the release of his single ` Locked Up ` from his debut album ` Trouble ` will make a second appearance on the Sumfest stage on Friday July 18, 2008. He is set to share the stage with R&B singer, Keyshia Cole, known for hits like `Should A Let You Go,` `Heaven Sent` and `I Remember,`   at International night along with reggae`s conscious voices, Richie Spice, Coco Tea, Queen Ifrica, Lutan Fyah and the almost soulful, Terry Linen. Rap mogul Lil Wayne is now scheduled to hit the stage on the last night of the festival Saturday July 19, to collaborate with friend and colleague T-Pain. Sumfest will heat up Jamaica on July 17 th as dance hall stars Beenie Man, Spice, Elephant Man, Bounty Killer, Voice Mail, Macka Diamond, Vybz Kartel, Harry Toddler, Busy Signal, Munga Honourable, Ninja Man, Busy Signal, Wayne Marshall, Assassin, Mavado, D
