The men’s and women’s soccer schedules were determined in a live draw by representatives of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) in conjunction with the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015).

The men’s competition will feature traditional powerhouses such as Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay and host team Canada. The Mexican team enters the tournament as defending champion. Other teams in the men’s tournament include Peru, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and Paraguay.

On the women’s side Canada is the defending champion, beating Brazil in 2011. Other teams in the women’s tournament include Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Argentina and Trinidad and Tobago.

More than 6,000 athletes from 41 countries and territories will be competing for gold at the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games. Those visiting Ontario for the Games will find welcoming communities, which will reflect the diversity of the Americas. The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games ticket program is designed to be affordable and accessible for everyone by offering:

Affordable pricing: Tickets start at just $20, with 75 per cent of tickets priced $45 and under.

Half-price tickets for persons under 16 years of age, or 65 and over: Tickets will be offered at a 50 per cent discount — some tickets will start at $10. The number of discounted tickets is limited, so buy early.

Integrated tickets: Every event ticket will allow the holder to access transit on the day of the event.

LIME is set to continue its aggressive grassroots marketing campaign in the Diaspora this Fall.

 Athletic fans globally can now get a front seat to the action via live stream today, Friday June 24. The event will feature the semi-finals and finals for the 100 meters.  Over the next three days fans will see the best of the Powell and Campbell as well as Yohan Blake, Steve Mullings, Micheal Frater, Sherone Simpson, Kerron Stewart, Brigitte Foster-Hylton, Jermaine Gonzalez and Nesta Carter among others.

The meet set for the Jamaica National Stadium from June 23-June 26, 2011, is streaming live all four days and will also be available on Smartphones, bringing the world to shores of Jamaica via New Media Technologies.

 JAAA describes this as a unique opportunity to again witness Jamaica’s best athletes as they vie for their position at the 2011 World Championships.  The live stream will be broadcasted on www.jaaa.tv and www.jaaa.tv/mobile.
