CaribPR Wire, Kingston, Jamaica, Thurs. May 5, 2011: The JN-IAAF International Invitational Meet has been upgraded to world challenge status, with a powerful contingent of world-class athletes to be held at the National Stadium on May 7, 2011.
The list of Jamaican and international champions expected to perform include Veronica Campbell-Brown, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, Sherone Simpson, Asafa Powell, Kerron Stewart, Novelene Williams-Mills, Yohan Blake to name a few.
This is a unique opportunity to show the world Jamaica’s top class athletes, on their turf in all their glory. Technology allows the JAAA (Jamaica Athletic Administrative Association) to not only showcase Jamaica’s athletes during this live stream but to have a platform where the world can come back and view the events On Demand.
On the day of the event, online visitors and mobile users will be treated to the “Live Stream” of the pre-meet show and opening ceremony for free, and the International portion of the event as a pay-per-view , for a fee of U.S.$5.99 to view the meet from their PCs via www.trackandfieldja.com/live and U.S.$2.99 from mobiles via www.jaaa.tv. Post the event, all visitors who purchased tickets for the “Live Stream” will be able to view the “On Demand” version of the event anytime from their computer at www.trackandfieldja.com/live. Individuals who did not purchase a ticket for the “LIVE STREAM” will be charged a fee for “On Demand.”
