interCaribbean accelerates introduction of Sint Maarten Services

TORTOLA, British Virgin Islands, Feb. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ – interCaribbean Airways celebrating its 26th year of continuous services, is accelerating its start date of services from Sint Maarten to Tortola with onward connections to Santo Domingo, San Juan and Antigua.

The original start of service to and from Sint Maarten of March 22, is moved forward in response to the challenges of travel to and from Santo Domingo following recent air service interruptions.

The new services will begin immediately from February 9, 2018.  Travelers in Santo Domingo and Sint Maarten can make immediate connections via the Tortola hub with a very short layover en-route.

interCaribbean launches new Tortola flights

TORTOLA, British Virgin Islands, Dec. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ – interCaribbean Airways, celebrating 25 years of continuous service, is pleased to announce new schedule services from Tortola to five new cities this winter season, making 22 cities served.

New services will begin from February 1, 2018 with nonstop flights from Tortola’s Terrence B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS) to: -

Today interCaribbean provides competitively priced nonstop flights between Tortola and Antigua, San Juan, and Santo Domingo, with same day connecting flights to the Turks and Caicos Islands, Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti, and the Bahamas.

InterCaribbean Airways increases flights to Cap Haitien from Providenciales

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands, Dec. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ – interCaribbean Airways (interCaribbean) formerly Air Turks & Caicos, announces the addition of new afternoon flights from Providenciales (PLS)  to Cap Haitien (CAP) on a Monday and Saturday with effect from January 20th 2014.

interCaribbean Airways attended the Airline Routes Conference in Las Vegas in October this year, where the ideas were discussed at meetings with the Ministry of Tourism representatives.  interCaribbean held a follow up meeting with  the Ministry of Tourism Delegation to Providenciales, together with the Consul for Commercial and Cultural Affairs from the Consulat d’Haiti in Providenciales in November where the Ministry indicated a willingness to support additional flights.

InterCaribbean Airways will offer with this new service, for visitors, citizens and residents of The Turks & Caicos Islands the chance to be able to take a day trip, with a morning flight departure and an afternoon return flight.  The new flights will afford the opportunity to visit the Citadel, take in cultural aspects of the Cap Haitien Area in Northern Haiti, and also enjoy the Creole Cuisine for Lunch, said Trevor Sadler, CEO of interCaribbean Airways.
