Super Wings New York Serves up Two Tons of Wings Including Bajan Merry Mango Just in Time for Super Bowl

Feb. 2, 2013:  Colette Burnett, owner of Super Wings New York announced today that her restaurants will sell more than 2 tons of chicken wings for Super Bowl Sunday. “We have been marinating wings around the clock,” stated Burnett. “Our customers were concerned because of the rumor on the shortage of wings. What occurred was an increase in price and the chicken producers cut back causing a temporary shortage on the supply.”

Chicken lovers need not worry because Super Wings New York has 2 locations in Brooklyn, and are on target to sell more than one ton of wings per store on Super Bowl Sunday, serving up their world famous Bajan Merry Mango wing sauce. The wings are simmered in traditional Caribbean ingredients including mango, which is currently featured on Bobby Deen’s Not My Mama’s Meals airing both on the Food Network and the Cooking Channel.

The Bajan Merry Mango is a sweet, yet tangy wing sauce and has the dubious honor of being named by local customers as the official Super Wings New York 2013 Super Bowl Wing Flavor. According to the National Chicken Council during Super Bowl Weekend, Americans will consume 1.23 billion chicken wings. Super Wings N.Y. serves up thirteen (13) wing flavors, and there is a sauce to represent almost every island in the English-speaking Caribbean.
